360° aerial images are taken by full frame cameras from a 10m pole equipped with a pan and tilt remote head. The setup is supporting long exposures of several seconds or even minutes. Drones, in contrast, are limited to exposure times of a fraction of a second and not suited to shoot high quality astronomical imagery.
